Pot of Gold Auctions Hosts Charity Auction Benefiting Hold My Guns®

Donate an item, place a winning bid, and join a lively community effort helping gun owners access voluntary off-site storage when they need it most.

BECHTELSVILLE, Pa., July 9, 2026 — Pot of Gold Auctions, with support from AZFirearms Auctions, is now accepting donated items for its online charity auction benefiting Hold My Guns®. Pot of Gold Auctions will list items as they arrive and open bidding immediately on each item. The online auction closes November 10, 2026.

The November auction will raise funds for Hold My Guns®, a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2018 by members of the firearms community. Through its Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) partners, Hold My Guns® supports gun owners by offering voluntary, off-site firearm storage.

To date, Hold My Guns® partners have stored more than 450 firearms for gun owners navigating personal circumstances. Partners never ask gun owners to disclose their reason for storage. Common use cases include home renovations, deployment, travel, foster care requirements, suicide prevention planning, court orders, and other household or personal needs. Hold My Guns® has also distributed more than 12,000 Personal Safety Plans and trained more than 300 firearms community members in QPR suicide prevention.

The auction will support Hold My Guns® as the organization expands access to voluntary firearm storage through FFL partnerships, safety planning education, and community outreach.

This marks Pot of Gold Auctions’ second charity auction supporting Hold My Guns®, following its March 2024 fundraiser, which featured 52 donated lots and raised $10,285 from winning bids.
