Hold My Guns® exists to provide a voluntary, confidential, and rights-preserving solution for temporary firearm storage. We connect gun owners with firearms retailers who securely hold firearms — behind the counter or in locker storage, depending on the partner — during life's transitions. No reasons asked.
It's best to have a plan when life calls for temporary storage. Not everybody has friends or family who can help store firearms, and this is an opportunity for our firearms community to help each other meet this need.
How We Started
Our Story
Hold My Guns® was born from a simple observation: gun owners facing temporary life challenges needed a secure, dignified place to store their firearms — and no such option existed within the firearms community.
What began as a conversation among responsible gun owners grew into a nationwide network of firearms retail partners, legal frameworks, and community resources — all in service of saving lives, protecting property, and preserving rights.
Today, Hold My Guns® operates across multiple states with a growing network of vetted storage partners, serving gun owners who choose voluntary, temporary storage on their own terms.

Sarah Joy Albrecht
Co-Founder & Executive DirectorSarah is a Range Safety Officer who enjoys helping new shooters get acclimated. Prior to founding HMG, she served as doula and childbirth educator for 11 years. She loves the Lord and her family. She is not a fan of root beer.
