BECHTELSVILLE, Pa., July 1, 2026 — Hold My Guns® (HMG), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded within the firearms community, has unveiled an updated brand identity that includes a new logo, website layout, locator map, and resource materials at holdmyguns.org. The changes reflect the growth of its mission and the increasing recognition of voluntary firearm storage as a practical service within firearms retail operations.
Since 2018, Hold My Guns® has helped establish a practical, rights-respecting pathway for gun owners seeking temporary, off-site firearm storage. Through its network of firearms retail partners, the organization has supported secure storage for more than 450 firearms, distributed over 12,000 safety plans that affirm personal agency and include a gun-owner-directed firearm storage plan in times of need, and certified more than 300 firearms community members in QPR suicide prevention training.
The brand’s new look, developed in partnership with Page50 Marketing and Media, gives fuller expression to a mission that began with a focus on suicide prevention and has grown to address a wide range of practical storage needs, from complex household situations, travel, and estate matters, to deployment, foster care requirements, and real estate showings. Hold My Guns®’ work has also helped shape a national policy conversation around voluntary firearm storage through outreach and educational advocacy, contributing to multiple states passing laws that reduce liability for licensed firearms retailers offering storage.
“When Hold My Guns® began, there was nothing like it for gun owners in need of off-site storage,” said Sarah Joy Albrecht, Founder and Executive Director of Hold My Guns®. “Not everyone has friends or family who can securely store firearms, so HMG set out to meet that need from within our own community. To see this model flourishing as it serves gun owners, elevates firearms retailers as trusted community partners, and underscores the value of practical, rights-respecting solutions makes my heart sing. I wanted our brand to more accurately reflect the maturity of the mission and the standard we have set. Page50 brought strategic discernment, creative excellence, and genuine respect for the firearms community to every part of that process. They understood the assignment.”
The new logo and color palette center on a bronze shield symbolizing security, strength, and protection. Within the shield, two abstract firearms appear through positive and negative space, representing the secure exchange between gun owners and trusted Firearms Storage Partners. The shield also represents the firearms community’s role as a protective force: standing shoulder to shoulder, like a shield wall, in defense of life, property, liberty, and one another.
Hold My Guns®’ new website includes a redesigned state-by-state locator map to help gun owners quickly find and contact firearms storage partners. A new resource section features three downloadable brochures: one for gun owners, one for firearms retailers, and one for community members. Each brochure speaks to its audience, explaining temporary off-site storage, retailer partnership, or how to respectfully share Hold My Guns® as an option when it may help.
“Page50 is selective about the organizations we stand behind, and Hold My Guns® was an easy yes,” said Stuart Amidon, CEO of Page50. “HMG refuses to accept the false choice between protecting gun rights and protecting lives. They give gun owners a practical, voluntary way to safeguard their families, their property, and their firearms during difficult moments. That mission deserves a brand with backbone. Getting the message right mattered just as much as getting the design right. It needed to speak the language of the firearms community without watering anything down—with respect, clarity, and strength. We were proud to help HMG build a brand that reflects exactly who they are and where they’re headed.”
The update marks a new chapter, but not a new mission. Created by gun owners for gun owners, Hold My Guns® remains as committed as ever to supporting the firearms community with practical solutions rooted in liberty, personal safety, and compassion.
“While our work often meets people in challenging situations, ours is not a gloomy mission,” Albrecht said. “It is an honor to support our firearms community in this way. We invite gun owners, firearms retailers, and community leaders to visit holdmyguns.org, learn more about our mission, and stand shoulder to shoulder with us as we advance this rights-respecting, life-affirming solution.”
